
Inside Business Development Representative – Personal Care, Georgia (1785)
Our client, a specialty chemical company, is looking for an Inside Business Development Representative to join their team, focused on selling into the Personal Care industry. This person would be responsible for growing the business with small to mid-sized accounts.
Requirements: Preferably based in Atlanta with sales/customer facing experience. Must have a competitive spirit and enjoy the thrill of the hunt. Should be someone looking for longevity and excited by the opportunity to move into an outside sales Account Manager role within 2-3 years in a territory where there is a need.
- Sales as “first foot forward” – a drive to add value for customers by identifying a match between their needs and our products/services.
- A bias for action – comfortable getting “in the arena” day in and day out through calling customers, handling rejection, and showing resilience.
- Strong EQ and ability to engage with broad range of clients/stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and grit – able to manage a high volume of tasks and competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business preferred.
- Experience in chemical sales, marketing, or related functions preferred.
Location/Travel: Atlanta-based, no overnight travel.
