Business Development Director, Cosmetics – US (1738)
Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialty botanical actives and extracts for use in the cosmetic market, is seeking a driven commercial professional to develop and implement a commercial strategy for expanding the US market.
Requirements:
- An advanced technical degree is preferred.
- Must know the US cosmetic market and competitive landscape
- Should have experience in both NBD and key account management
- Any experience evaluating, managing, or negotiation with distributors is a plus
- Excellent negotiation, presentation written, and oral communication skills
- Self-directed team player who demonstrates sound business judgment
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships and business partnerships with distributors and clients at all levels
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic
- Exceptional customer/client focus with a commitment to first-class customer service.
- Result-driven with a proven ability to make strong connections
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and internationally
- Experienced and open-minded to work with an international company organization
- U.S. passport / U.S. citizen / valid driver’s license
Location: Home office based in the northeast.
