Commercial Director, Ag/Biologics – Major Metro US (1740)
Our client, a global leader of biological innovation, is seeking a Commercial Director in the agriculture market. This person would be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build a sustainable and growing business.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in agronomy, agronomic products that impact plant health and protection, agricultural distribution.
- Strong performance in creating and maintaining collaborations with top-tier agriculture companies.
- Academic degree in agronomy, chemical engineering or (bio)chemical degree, or similar strong technical background.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to create successful business strategies and execute them in the bio-agricultural space.
- Extensive experience gained within a global B2B environment with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships across the globe.
- Experience managing budget.
- Demonstrable track record of success within a global, matrix organization environment.
- Proven experience in leading strategic and business planning with sound evidence of customer and consumer insight-led strategy development and implementation.
- Direct team line management and people leadership experience with proven ability to inspire, grow and develop people.
Location/Travel: Anywhere in the US near a major airport. Up to 20%-30% overnight travel.
