Commercial Director, Personal Care – New Jersey (1773)
Our client, a leading, global specialty chemical company, is seeking an experienced Director of Home and Personal Care to join their team. This person would be responsible for sales growth and managing direct and indirect reports within the territory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in the personal and home care industry with demonstrated technical, sales and management experience.
- Should have had global experience, ideally in LatAm.
- Collaborative and inclusive management style with change management skill set.
- Proven track record of successful new business development.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior-level customer contacts to provide support and guidance to team members.
- Relevant interdisciplinary experience with market knowledge, technical background and relevant Marketing & Sales experience preferred.
- Proven customer-centric approach combined with robust commercial competencies.
- Ability to travel within North and South America, roughly 30% of time, and occasional trips to Europe and Asia for tradeshows and team meetings.
Location/Travel: Hybrid role in New Jersey.
