EHS Manager – Minnesota (1733)
Our client, a global leader in chemical manufacturing, is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager. This person will manage a small team and be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the EHS programs and initiatives at the site.
Requirements:
- Degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline with relevant certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, ASP) preferred.
- 5+ years of SHE experience making decisions with a proven track record of success establishing meaningful, interpersonal relationships through the ability to influence, with personnel at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of SHE regulations, standards, and best practices. Demonstrated knowledge of all applicable state and federal EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations and experience in auditing compliance.
- Ability to effectively communicate safety, health, and environmental processes and requirements, including experience with computer-based training systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to support and facilitate 24/7 response to emergencies related to facility operations and safety/security events.
- Basic knowledge of PSM systems and safety management software.
Location/Travel: Onsite in MN. No routine travel.
