EHS Specialist – Minnesota (1734)
Our client, a global leader in chemical manufacturing, is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist. This person will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Degree with focus on Safety and Health Administration or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH).
- At least 2 years of experience in a safety specialist role, preferably in the manufacturing, chemical, or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory agencies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
Location/Travel: Onsite in MN. No routine travel.
