Technical Applications Manager, Pet Health – MW/NE (1763)
Our client, a global manufacturer of nutritional ingredients, is seeking a Technical Applications Manager to join their team. This person would be responsible for providing technical support to customers and sales and collaborating with managers to help move projects through the pipeline.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in similar position, preferably in the pet supplements, health, or nutrition industries.
- Hybrid role, Midwest or Northeast-based.
- Must have deep knowledge of companion pet health products and markets. Do not have to know probiotics intimately but should know technical pet health applications. Note: Pet/companion animals only. Experience with only Dairy cows/beef cattle/ horses etc. will not work here.
- Technically strong. While a tech degree would be preferred, solid experience on the technical side of the pet health business can override that.
- Will consider experience in applications/technical service, product management, sales or the lab.
- Mature, collaborative, and flexible with sales presentation skills.
- Understanding of probiotics and other biologicals, their mechanisms of action, benefits, and applications specifically for pet health.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products on a global scale.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Location/Travel: Hybrid role, based in the Midwest or the Northeast. Up to 40% overnight travel.
