Senior Process Chemist, Fine Chemicals – New Jersey (1774)

Our client, a global chemical manufacturing company, is looking for a Senior Process Chemist to join their team. This person would be responsible for multiple growth paths throughout the organization and working on both domestic and global sites. 

Requirements:  

• PhD in Organic Chemistry with in-depth knowledge of organic synthesis and key product purification processes. 

• 8+ years of industrial process chemistry/chemical development experience, preferably in specialty/fine chemical industry. 

• Strong knowledge of modern synthetic organic chemistry, catalysis & process chemistry. 

• Hands-on experience in typical laboratory operations linked to synthetic chemistry and separation operations including fractional distillation. 

• Being curious and open-minded with excellent communication skills and team-player spirit. 

• Capacity to work independently, good organization skills with team management, setting priorities and being result oriented. 

• Excellent written and oral presentation skills.

Location/Travel: Hybrid role in New Jersey/New York. Up to 20% overnight travel, domestically and internationally.
