Rail Manager, Industrial – Texas (1838)
Our client, a chemical manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Rail Manager to lead a team of three rail logistics specialists.
Requirements:
- Experience with rate negotiations with Class 1 railroads.
- At least 2 years of management experienc.
- Organized with excellent follow-up, and a sense of urgency.
- Experience in chemicals, oil and gas, petrochemical or some other regulated industry preferred, but will consider others.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and management skills.
- ERP/logistics software experience required
- Strong PC skills (MS products, Adobe), including experience utilizing the Internet as a resource.
Location/Travel: Based in Houston with very minimal overnight travel.
