Business Development Manager – Northeast (1697)

Our client, a world leader for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and specialty chemical industries, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. This person would be responsible for new business development and identifying new customers.

Requirements: 

  • Technically degreed
  • 5+ of experience in new business development in specialty ingredients sold to PC or food/nutrition.
  • Relationships with existing nutritional/PC accounts. 
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to make cold calls and in-person sales calls and presentations.
  • Knowledge of strategic selling concepts and consultative sales.
  • Ability to follow a defined sales process and documentation standards.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both one-on-one discussions and broad groups.

Location/Travel: Northeast, up to 50% travel.
