Account Manager, Medical, Infant & Sports Nutrition – Eastern US (1880)

Our client, a specialty chemical company, is looking for an Account Manager to join their team in the Nutrition and Nutraceutical markets. This person would be responsible for developing new business in an underserved territory. 

Requirements:  

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales, business development, and/or account management role within business to business (B2B) environment. 
  • Established relationships and understanding of customers in the target markets. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to take ownership of assigned territory. 
  • Proven success in selling to R&D, Product development and other technical functions as well as purchasing and commercial leadership.  
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a drive toward meeting and exceeding targets.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field is required. 

Location/Travel: Broad range of viable locations near a major airport anywhere from New York to Georgia and as far west as Chicagoland. Overnight travel ~30-40% depending on location of the candidate.
