
Account Manager, Food Ingredients – South (1858)
Our client, a specialty ingredient and chemical company, is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in the Food market. This person would be responsible for maximizing growth and driving territory expansion.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree or equivalent in a field applicable to our associated industries.
- Extensive experience in value-based sales of technical and premium ingredients into Food, Beverage and Nutrition.
- Self-motivated, professional and prompt with well-developed time management skills.
- Track record of success in identifying likely customer prospects and developing sales where no previous buying relationship has existed.
- Ability to manage large complex accounts and grow sales within established customers.
- Intermediate level of expertise in MS Office and Contact Management Software.
- Ability to maintain professional conduct that exemplifies the corporate policies at all times, particularly when interacting directly with internal and external customers.
Location/Travel: Anywhere in the South near major airport. Up to 50% overnight travel depending on location of candidate.
