Associate Plant Director, Fragrances – New Jersey (1850)
Our client, a respected chemical manufacturing company, is looking for an Associate Plant Director to join their team in the Fragrance markets. This person would be responsible for overseeing direct reports while managing and directing overall plant operations.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience manufacturing fragrance, perfumery and/or aroma chemicals at a leadership level.
- Minimum 10 years in chemical manufacturing operations required.
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership role as a Site Manager/Director or Plant Manager/Director required.
- Inspirational leadership and an ability to share and drive vision.
- Experience in the fragrance, cosmetics, or chemical industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree required, with preference for a technical degree.
Location/Travel: Onsite in New Jersey. Minimal overnight travel.
